Beta is 1992 Indian Bollywood (Hindi Language) Drama film. Beta is directed by Indra Kumar and produced by Indra Kumar & Ashok Thakeria and the story is written by Kamlesh Pandey, K Bhagyaraj, Naushir Khatau, Gyandev Agnihotri, Rajiv Kaul & Praful Parekh. Its star cast are Anil Kapoor, Madhuri Dixit & Aruna Irani in the lead roles. Movie Beta is an official remake of Tamil drama film "Enga Chinna Rasa", released in 1987, which itself was a remake of Telugu drama film "Ardhangi". released in 1955. Film was clashed with Dharmendra "Virodhi". Film did very well at Indian box office and also recovered its total budget and made very huge amount of profit. It was the highest grossing Indian film of 1992.
