Kismet is 1943 Indian Bollywood (Hindi Language) Drama film. Kismet is directed by Gyan Mukherjee and produced by Bombay Talkies and the story is written by Aghajani Kashmeri & Gyan Mukherjee. Its star cast are Ashok Kumar, Mumtaz Shanti & Shah Nawaz in the lead roles. Movie was remade in Tamil as "Prema Pasam", released in 1956 and in Telugu as "Bhale Ramudu", released in 1956 and in Bollywood as "Boy Friend", released in 1961. Film did very well at Indian box office and also recovered its total budget and made very huge amount of profit. It was the highest grossing Indian film of 1943.
