Basant Bahar is 1956 Indian Bollywood (Hindi Language) Romantic film. Basant Bahar is directed by Raja Nawathe and produced by R. Chandra and the story is written by Rajinder Singh Bedi & T.R. Subba Rao. Its star cast are Bharat Bhushan & Nimmi in the lead roles. Story of a film is based on a novel "Hamsageethe", written by T.R. Subba Rao and the novel was published in 1952.

Movie won one award in National Film Award, which is "Certificate of Merit for Best Feature Film in Hindi". Film did very well at Indian box office and also recovered its total budget and made very good amount of profit. It was the fourth highest grossing Indian film of 1956.
