Aasra is 1966 Indian Bollywood (Hindi Language) Drama film. Aasra is directed by Satyen Bose and produced by Madan Mohla and the story is written by Satyen Bose, Pratibha Bose & Govind Moonis. Its star cast are Biswajit Chatterjee & Mala Sinha in the lead roles. Story of a film is based on Bengali film "Madhyarater Tara", released in 1961. Film did very well at Indian box office and also recovered its total budget and made good amount of profit. It was the eleventh (11th) highest grossing Indian film of 1966.
