Amar Prem is 1972 Indian Bollywood (Hindi Language) Romantic Drama film. Amar Prem is directed by Shakti Samanta and produced by Shakti Samanta and the story is written by Arabinda Mukherjee & Ramesh Pant. Its star cast are Rajesh Khanna & Sharmila Tagore in the lead roles. Movie is a remake of Bengali film "Nishi Padma", released in 1970. Film did very well at Indian box office and also recovered its total budget and made good amount of profit. It was the thirteenth (13th) highest grossing Indian film of 1972.
