Guddi is 1971 Indian Bollywood (Hindi Language) Romantic Drama film. Guddi is directed by Hrishikesh Mukherjee and produced by Hrishikesh Mukherjee & N.C. Sippy and the story is written by Hrishikesh Mukherjee, D.N. Mukherjee & Gulzar. Its star cast are Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan & Utpal Dutt in the lead roles. Movie marks the acting debut of Jaya Bachchan in Bollywood. Movie was remade in Tamil as "Cinema Paithiyam", released in 1975. Film did well at Indian box office and also recovered its total budget and made decent amount of profit. It was the eighteenth (18th) highest grossing Indian film of 1971.
