Satya is 1998 Indian Bollywood (Hindi Language) Action Crime Drama film. Satya is directed by Ram Gopal Varma and produced by Ram Gopal Varma and the story is written by Saurabh Shukla & Anurag Kashyap. Its star cast are J.D. Chakravarthy, Urmila Matondkar, Manoj Bajpayee, Saurabh Shukla & Shefali Shah in the lead roles. This is the first part of Ram Gopal Varma's "Gangster Trilogy" film series. Second part is "Company", released in 2002 and the third part is "D", released in 2005. Movie also has a sequel "Satya 2", released in 2013.
