Sharaabi is 1984 Indian Bollywood (Hindi Language) Comedy Drama film. Sharaabi is directed by Prakash Mehra and produced by Satyendra Pal and the story is written by Kader Khan, Prakash Mehra & Laxmikant Sharma. Its star cast are Amitabh Bachchan & Jaya Prada in the lead roles. Story of a film was inspired by American comedy film "Arthur", released in 1981. Movie was remade in Kannada as "Nee Thanda Kanike", released in 1985. Film did very well at Indian box office and also recovered its total budget and made very good amount of profit. It was the third highest grossing Indian film of 1984.
