Mangal Pandey: The Rising is 2005 Indian Bollywood (Hindi Language) Historical Biographical Drama film. The Rising: Ballad of Mangal Pandey is directed by Ketan Mehta and produced by Ketan Mehta, Bobby Bedi & Deepa Sahi and the story is written by Farrukh Dhondy. Its star cast are Aamir Khan, Rani Mukerji, Ameesha Patel & Toby Stephens. Story of a film is based on the life of Mangal Pandey, who was an Indian Soldier. Film did not performed well at Indian box office and even did not recovered its total budget. It was the fourth highest grossing Indian film of 2005.
