Swades is 2004 Indian Bollywood (Hindi Language) Drama film. Swades is directed by Ashutosh Gowariker and produced by Ashutosh Gowariker and the story is written by Ashutosh Gowariker, K.P. Saxena, M.G. Sathya, Sameer Sharma, Lalit Marathe, Amin Hajee, Ayan Mukerji, Yashodeep Nigudkar & Charlotte Whitby-Coles. Its star cast are Shah Rukh Khan, Gayatri Joshi & Kishori Ballal in the lead roles. Movie was also dubbed in Tamil as "Desam", released in 2005.
