Umrao Jaan is 2006 Indian Bollywood (Hindi Language) Romantic Drama film. Umrao Jaan is directed by J.P. Dutta and produced by J.P. Dutta and the story is written by J.P. Dutta & O.P. Dutta. Its star cast are Aishwarya Rai, Abhishek Bachchan, Suniel Shetty, Shabana Azmi, Divya Dutta, Himani Shivpuri & Kulbhushan Kharbanda. Story of a film is based on the Urdu novel "Umrao Jaan Ada" by Mirza Hadi Ruswa and the novel was published in 1899. Film did not performed well at Indian box office and even did not recovered its total budget.
