Padmaavat is 2018 Indian Bollywood (Hindi Language) Epic Period Drama film. Padmaavat is directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali and jointly produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Sudhanshu Vats & Ajit Andhare and the story is written by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. Story of this film is based on the epic poem Padmavat written by Malik Muhammad Jayasi in 1540. Its Star cast are Deepika Padukone, Shahid Kapoor & Ranveer Singh in the lead roles. Deepika Padukone as Rani Padmavati, Shahid Kapoor as Maharawal Ratan Singh & Ranveer Kapoor as Sultan Alauddin Khilji. This is the third film of Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh together after "Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela" which was released in 2013 and "Bajirao Mastani" which was released in 2015 and all three films were directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali.

The official trailer of the film (3 Minutes 09 Seconds) was released on 09th October 2017 on Viacom18 Studios official YouTube channel and trailer gained 61 Million views on YouTube since its release. Film did very well at Indian box office and also recovered its total budget and made a very good amount of profit. Film Padmaavat won many awards including three National Film Awards: Best Music Direction, Best Playback Singer & Best Choreography.
