Why Cheat India is 2019 Indian Bollywood (Hindi Language) Crime Drama film. Why Cheat India is directed by Soumik Sen and jointly produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Tanuj Garg, Atul Kasbekar & Praveen Hashmi and the story is written by Soumik Sen. Its star cast is Emraan Hashmi & Shreya Dhanwanthary in the lead roles. It is the debut film of Shreya Dhanwanthary in Bollywood. The earlier titled was decided "Cheat India" but title was changed at last moment as "Why Cheat India"The Story is based on the Indian Education System. The film was released in pakistan as CheatAccording to the critics this was the best performance of Emraan Hashmi's Filmy Career.

The first teaser poster of the film was released on 28th August 2018 and second teaser poster was release on 12th November 2018. The official teaser (51 Seconds) of the film was released on 16th November 2018 and the official trailer (2 Minutes 02 Seconds) of the film was released on 12th December 2018 on T-Series official YouTube channel. Teaser and trailer gained 8.9 Million & 16 Million views on YouTube. Both official teaser and trailer was released on T-Series official YouTube channel. Film did not perform well at Indian box office and even did not recovered its total budget.
