Movie was remade in Tamil as "Raja", released in 1972, in Telugu as "Eduruleni Manishi", released in 1975 and in Kannada as "Apoorva Sangama", released in 1984. Film did very well at Indian box office and also recovered its total budget and made very huge amount of profit. It was the highest grossing Indian film of 1970.
