Pyaasa is 1957 Indian Bollywood (Hindi Language) Drama film. Pyaasa is directed by Guru Dutt and produced by Guru Dutt and the story is written by Abrar Alvi. Its star cast are Guru Dutt, Waheeda Rehman & Mala Sinha in the lead roles. Movie was remade in Telugu as "Mallepoovu", released in 1975. Film did very well at Indian box office and also recovered its total budget and made very huge amount of profit. It was the third highest grossing Indian film of 1957.
